후오비코리아, ‘후오비 블록체인

Huobi Korea는 지난 21일 후오비 블록체인 커피하우스(Huobi Blockchain Coffeehouse)의 출범식과 함께 첫 ‘페이코인 밋업’을 진행했다. 이날 출범식에는 후오비코리아 조국봉 의장, 박시덕 대표, 다날 박성찬 회장, 달콤커피 지성원 대표와 양사 경영진 및 외부 인사 100여명이 참석했다.

후오비 블록체인 커피하우스는 국내 블록체인 생태계 조성, 국내외 기술 및 정보 교류, 국내 블록체인 경쟁력 강화를 목적으로 달콤커피와 협업해 달콤커피 논현점을 리모델링한 블록체인 워킹 스페이스(Working Space)다. 스타트업 기업들은 여기서 글로벌 네트워크 및 노하우 활용, 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 자문, 단계별 육성 프로그램을 제공받을 수 있으며, 비즈니스 미팅, 밋업, 강연, 콘서트 등도 가능하다.

또한 별도로 구성된 블록체인 커피클럽은 블록체인 정보 교류와 함께 신디케이트 구성 및 블록체인 스타트업에 대한 자문, 투자 등 다양한 프로그램을 진행할 계획이라고 한다.

Huawei crisis?

5월 19일 로이터 통신에 따르면, 
According to Reuters on May 19,

도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 중국 기업 화웨이와 자국 기업의 거래를 제한함에 따라 구글이 화웨이 스마트폰에 안드로이드 관련 솔루션 공급을 중단할 방침을 밝혔으며, 때문에 화웨이가 차기 안드로이드 운영체제(OS)와 구글 플레이스토어, 지메일 등 서비스에 접근할 수 없게 된다고 합니다. 

US President Donald Trump has said that Google will stop supplying Android solutions to Huawei smartphones as it restricts transactions between Huawei and its own companies. This means that Huawei will not be able to access services such as the next Android OS, Google Play Store, and Gmail.

구글은 올해 개발자회의를 통해 차기 안드로이드 OS ‘안드로이드 Q’를 소개했다. 통상 제조사는 출시 전인 차기 OS 개발 과정에 접근할 수 있지만, 이번 거래 중단 조치에 따라 화웨이는 이런 혜택을 볼 수 없으며, 다만 안드로이드 체제 관련 제공되는 오픈소스를 통한 개발은 가능하다고 합니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 구글 플레이 스토어, 지메일 등 앱 서비스의 탑재는 금지될 것이기 때문에 중국 내수용은 몰라도 수출용 스마트폰은 큰 타격을 받을 것으로 판단됩니다. 앱을 설치할 수 없는 스마트폰은 빈껍데기에 불과하기 때문입니다. 

Google introduced its next Android OS, ‘Android Q’, through this year’s developer conference. Usually manufacturers can access the next OS development process before launch, but Huawei will not be able to benefit from this transaction suspension, but it will be possible to develop with open source provided for the Android system. Nonetheless, since it will be prohibited to install app services such as Google Play Store and Gmail, smartphones for export will be hit hard, even if they are not in China. Smartphones that can not install apps are just empty shells.
